# RP003 — Preparation review and next execution stage

2026-10-11. Internal self-review of operational protocol v0.1. This is preparation review, not package disposition or external scientific review.

## Readiness assessment

The frozen baseline and PC01 are unchanged. The supplement defines the subject, two observable features, transformation and concatenation semantics, exact inclusive tolerance, adjacent/endpoint/prefix judgments and accumulated variation. P0–P3 have disclosed expected judgments and exact measurements. A standard-library rational checker verifies their implementation; adversarial unit checks cover boundaries, feature changes, path excursions and corrupted expectations.

The targeted collision review identifies known tolerance and invariant reasoning. It states exactly which source sections were inspected. No novelty or metaphysical interpretation is attached to the constructed cases. In particular, “global” has separate endpoint and prefix meanings; neither is silently substituted for the other.

The four fixtures are calibration examples, not newly collected evidence. No empirical uncertainty estimate is appropriate. The planned 11,100-path enumeration is bounded and explicitly excludes the independent 3/4 calibration coordinates. Minimality claims will be relative to path length and the declared grid. General implications require arguments beyond counts.

## What remains before a recorded research audit

Commit and review the operational supplement and checker, then implement the declared enumeration and an independent saved-witness replay. Before running, create a new immutable manifest identifying the reviewed commit and input hashes, environment, resource limits and stopping rules. Freeze these inputs before observing enumeration outputs. The next audit must record complete counts and saved witnesses, verify coverage and every antecedent/consequent, and preserve failures without a VALID Result. The present preparation command produces no run directory.

This preparation is sufficient to build that bounded audit; it does not claim the audit has already executed. The expected deterministic outcomes are known by construction. Subsequent evidence should be described as a reproducibility and mathematical audit, rather than an independent statistical confirmation.

## Validation and status

Required checks: frozen-baseline integrity, typed-record schema, four fixture expectations, adversarial unit checks, generated English document views, downloaded source fidelity and internal links. The repository CI repeats these checks on the reviewed commit. The preparation checker is `python3 scripts/check-rp003-preparation.py`.

RP003 remains PLANNED, Q-0 remains ACTIVE, and there is no RP003 Test, Result or promoted Claim. Cycle 01 remains ACTIVE with only RP002A resolved: 1/13 obligations (7.7%). This review does not resolve the RP003 disposition obligation.
