# Cycle 02 — Forward and backward graph review 001

Review date: 2026-10-12. Scope: the complete declared research graph at source commit `fbc76e0209819fa7f24499162349c81db4adf3eb`, after D-0017 accepted the RP006 result and before this review's disposition. This is an internal structural review, not external peer review or scientific validation.

## Reconstruction

The immutable inventory in `CYCLE02_GRAPH_REVIEW_001.json` is reconstructed from Git objects and records the SHA-256 of each graph record, the Cycle 02 manifest, all declared relations, typed references, incoming links, forward Question traces, backward Result/Test/package traces and then-resolved Cycle obligations. The checker `scripts/check-cycle02-graph-review.py` independently reconstructs that exact snapshot and runs current schema/integrity validation. It does not infer transitive support.

The snapshot contains 49 records: 17 Decisions, six Questions, five ResearchPackages, five Results, ten Sources and six Tests. It records 22 declared relations and 124 typed references. Every typed reference and relation resolves to an existing record under the schema checker.

## Forward and backward findings

All six foundational Questions are represented. Q-0, Q-2, Q-3 and Q-4 are ACTIVE; Q-1 and Q-5 are OPEN. Q-1 and Q-5 have no linked package, Test or Result in this graph. Q-3 and Q-4 link to RP-006, Test `TST-RP006001` and Result `R-RP006001`; both Questions remain ACTIVE. The graph's declared `informs` relations are preserved separately from package and Test references.

Five VALID Results have complete backward paths to one Test, its package and its protocol/run/artifact references: RP002A002, RP003001, RP004001, RP005A001 and RP006001. The RP006 path contains the fixed Test and exactly one authorized attempt's manifest and output artifacts. No Result is orphaned or attached to a different package/Test pair. The graph does not promote a Claim or resolve Q-3 or Q-4.

The pre-review Cycle ledger resolves only `rp006` and `checkpoint-a`, each to D-0017. The graph-review, synthesis, foundation, What Changed, What Remains Open, transition and close-bundle obligations remain unresolved. No review artifact itself is treated as evidence of scientific resolution.

## Disposition boundary

Accept this reconstruction as completion of only the Cycle 02 `graph-review` obligation. Keep Cycle 02 OPEN at 3/9 after the separate disposition Decision. Q-3 and Q-4 remain ACTIVE; Q-1 and Q-5 remain OPEN; all Result and package statuses remain unchanged. No experiment, Claim, Question resolution, baseline change, Cycle transition or closure follows from this structural review.
